Internet start-up company Broadbridge Media
sought to create a unique image in a cluttered
multimedia market through the design of its
Midtown Manhattan office.
The design solution divided the space into
a production area for programmers/designers
and separate offices for management. The partitions,
workstations and reception desk were built
of hot rolled steel with translucent Plexiglas
paneling, creating a unique "high-tech
meets low-tech" look. These translucent
offices allow for privacy, while permitting
light and air to filter in between. The modular
production workstations were designed for
expandability to accommodate the anticipated
growth in staff.
