The Firegarden was commissioned by the International masonry institute as a charitable contribution towards the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A spiraling brick wall, the Firegarden protects M.D.A. campers at camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in eastern long island during campfires. The design, based upon a grid of rotated golden spirals, includes a path of pavers, benches and landscaping.
