Inferno is an original opera by Patrick Soluri based upon Dante's trilogy The opera consists of scenes during the journey of Dante and Virgil through hell. The sculptural set is an abstraction of this downward spiral and used by the singers through out the performances. The set is constructed of pine 2x4's and plywood recovered from a construction site. The set is designed to be moved and assembled in 15 minutes via sixteen small segments.
