The renovation of the Oldweiler residence in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood exposed the original industrial character of the space while inserting contemporary architectural elements. The 900 sq ft loft was divided by a 25' long curving steel and Plexiglas wall; effectively separating the sleeping area from the living room while still maintaining the openness of the loft. The wall intersects with a large wooden cube that contains the bathroom and closets, maximizing the feeling of open space.
