The Weiner Penthouse is located in the attic of a Tudor style co-op building in Forest Hills, Queens. With powerful cathedral style ceilings, the renovation provides a simple contemporary contrast through the careful placement and use of materials. Highlights include a glass and granite water feature at the entry and the stair to the mezzanine enclosed by wooden slats.

To balance the geometrical complexity of the ceilings a millwork “wrapper” is located at the perimeter of the Penthouse which provides needed storage while creating a distinct horizontal line throughout the space.
