A Dialogue on Time Upon the New Millennium
Mr. Soluri was commissioned by Gordon Ostrowski and the Manhattan School of Music Opera Studio to write A Dialogue on Time upon the New Millennium, the finale for their Fall 1999 Opera Scenes Program called "A Time Capsule" celebrating time and the new millennium directed by Gordon Ostrowski with conductor Gary Wedow of New York City Opera.

The director takes the music as the composer asks "What's time anyways?"	As the singers get their music and warm up, Nick Shadow appears.
Nick Shadow threatens the composer.	The cast of opera characters from previous scenes, attempt to answer the question of time.
Each character makes a comment on time to the composer.
The cast throws the sheet music in the air ...	The cast sings the finale.
