Ngoni was Mr. Soluri's first ballet and first collaboration with choreographer Francis Patrelle of Dances Patrelle. Ngoni was featured in NuMilleniuMusicaDanz which was also an AIDS Benefit Concert produced by Patrick Soluri and Christian McLeer. Benefiting Dancers Responding to AIDS and the HIV Arts Network, the performance featured a live orchestra and a reception by Chef Alex Garcia. The event was a great success and reviewed by the NY Times and among others.
