With access granted to me by NASA HQ, Goddard Space Flight Center, Kennedy Space Center and John Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, I began a series of photographic portraits. A behind-the-scenes documentation of "earth-based" moments — most in a clean-room environment — of the engineers, scientist and technicians involved in the New Horizons Pluto-Kuiper Belt mission, like Dr. Alan Stern, the mission’s Principle Investigator.
