Loralee Nolletti is a writer and teacher in the New York City Public School System. She has also been a producer and independent researcher involved in international and national communications for the electronic and print media. Among the outlets she has written and produced for are: RAI (Italian Radio & Television), TF1 (French Television), WNYC Radio, Columbia University, Golin/Harris International, Forbes Inc., Merrill Lynch, NASA TV and Loral Space & Communications.
She is a co-author and writer of What’s Out There! Images form Here to the Edge of the Universe to be published by Duncan Baird in London and New York in the fall of 2005.
Her most recent research project has been on the biography William Clark and the Shaping of the West, by Landon Y. Jones, published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in 2004.
Loralee has been a “Discovery” / The Nation Poetry Contest semi-finalist. She holds a BA from Union College (Cum Laude), and a Masters in Education from Brown University and a MFA in writing from Columbia University.
